On Monday the 1st of June 2026 we marked a significant milestone in the delivery of The Smith, celebrating the topping out of our landmark redevelopment in the heart of Westminster.
Situated adjacent to Smith Square and the River Thames, we are creating a new, best in class office building, comprising approximately 130,000 sq ft. The project preserves and reconstructs the building's historic façade while delivering 8 floors of premium, future-focused workspace designed to meet the evolving needs of occupiers.
Sustainability and wellbeing are at the heart of The Smith. The all-electric development has been designed to minimise embodied carbon and maximise operational efficiency, targeting BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Platinum and a minimum NABERS 5-Star rating.
This milestone is the result of the dedication and collaboration of an exceptional team of longstanding and trusted consultants and contractors, lead by Skanska. As we look ahead to completion in Q2 2027, we are excited to bring the vision to life and to welcome future occupiers to a workplace that combines exceptional design, sustainability and location in equal measure.
